How Do I Use Afrin No Drip Nasal Spray?
Shake the bottle well before each use. Hold the nozzle between your first and second fingers, and place the nozzle in your nostrils. Press the nozzle rim down firmly two or three times and sniff deeply. Repeat in the other nostril, if needed. There is no need to tilt your head while spraying. The drip-free formula stays where you spray it. Be sure and wipe the nozzle clean after each use.
Is Afrin Safe to Use?
Afrin is safe when used as directed. Do not use Afrin No Drip more than twice in a 24-hour period or for longer than three days. Ask your doctor about using Afrin with other medicines.
The Afrin pump mist is safe for people ages 6 years and up, although children between the ages of 6 and 12 should always take Afrin with adult supervision. Ask your doctor about giving Afrin to children younger than 6.
